Formation of New  Midwest, occurred in 2010 to allow funding for small independent music labels(among them Soultaker Records, & Breakin Free Records) in 2013 fully evolved into a Limited Liability Company, absolving the aforementioned independent labels. New Midwest Entertainment is a record label and a small business who's web site host a variety of services for musicians, bands and even other businesses.

To delve into the music side of the business is to see a host of great artist, including RIP and Brail, whom where affiliated with Soultaker Records(since 2004) at the time of formation of New Midwest, both where influential with the formation of the new group, proving not only their drive in music, but business. Other known associates of NMW include, Lyric Reddick, LOWKEEZY, WonderBoi, & Conley. Be on the look out, New Midwest Ent, is always looking to sign new talent, and there may be some hot additions very soon!
